These lessons will help you build a strong foundation of basic techniques. If you don't feel comfortable showing off your swimsuit in a group, the Y also offers private lessons. While you're there, you may want to explore the YMCA's other offerings as well. Membership may include private personal training sessions if you're looking to tailor your workout.

Woodland Swim Club

The pool is heated and chlorine-free, making it a great place to learn. Lessons are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

The Country Club of Mobile

The highly experienced swimming instructors boast a wealth of knowledge about swimming. They also use aquatic training devices, such as paddles and flippers, to help students improve their swimming skills. Swimming lessons help residents learn how to swim properly and improve their swimming techniques. The swimming instructors will work with you to develop a swimming program tailored to your individual needs and abilities.
